Giving Back Outdoors is proud to invite veterans to join us for a Veterans Day pheasant hunt at Doc’s Hunt Club in Adel, Iowa.
This event is completely free for participating veterans and is our way of saying thank you to those who have served. We’re looking forward to a great day in the field, sharing the outdoors, swapping stories, and enjoying the camaraderie that comes with hunting alongside fellow veterans.
What Participants Need to Know
Participants will need to bring their own shotgun and wear a hunter orange shirt or vest while in the field. Additional event details and timing will be provided to those selected to participate.
All participants will also be required to review and sign a hold harmless agreement on site prior to participating in the hunt.
Whether you’ve hunted pheasants for years or are relatively new to the outdoors, we encourage you to apply. Our goal is simple: bring veterans together, spend a day in the field, and show our appreciation to the veteran community through a shared outdoor experience.
