At first, I was very apprehensive about participating in the veteran/youth turkey hunting event with Giving Back Outdoors in Iowa. I’m not a person that likes attention, crowds, or telling ‘war stories’ (which I thought was par for the course for these types of events). I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by how wrong was. The atmosphere and people were the best I could hope for, Jeremy McCarty and his team were humble and knowledgeable. The conversation was not forced, and the focus was on having a good time and enjoying the great outdoors. I learned new techniques for turkey hunting and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I cannot give enough praise to Jeremy and the Giving Back Outdoors Team. I really appreciate you inviting me and hope to see you all at future events.
